EZLink is an optional module in Relatrix' community portal environment to help synchronize user data in our database with a customer's in-house systems. This can include the Student Information System (SIS), Employee/Human Resources System or other databases that contain the names, contact details and affiliations/relationships of users.
EZLink allows a school district to import student and/or parent/guardian data into our community portal system with details like school enrolled, grade-level, primary-language and special programs (e.g. Gifted/Talented, Special Education, etc.) These attributes can be used to filter and target messages to different segments of the school/district audience.
EZLink works by the customer's IT department creating an export file in CSV format and uploading to a secure FTP site on our servers. From there EZLink processes the export file(s) nightly and either creates, updates or flags for deletion those records in the file. Any exceptions are logged and returned to the IT department for analysis.
